Hogroasting by Smith & Whitmer Farms

Hog,beef and lamb roasting since the 1960's averaging over 100 roasts annually. Harold Smith started cooking a hog annually on the farm as a way of saying thank you to all the people and friends that had helped over the year with the farming operation . Then a friend ask Harold to cook for his daughters wedding reception. The operation has now grown to 6 hand built cookers serving parties from 100 to over 1000 people. Some extras to think about are sweet corn which can be boiled, baked beans or baked potatoes.
